DVD Player To Stay On
Whats up everyone
I wanted to find out, is there any way I can get the DVD player in my car to stay on?
As soon as I take off, picture goes off and it gives some safety message about driving with the DVD player on.
Any way I can deactivate this?
Thanx a mill

this is what i have in mine and it works flawlessly....the only thing i DON'T like about it is unlike all of my other vehicles with bypasses installed the W204s will NOT retain the bypass, as in every time you start the car you must press and hold the return button on the steering wheel for 3sec....not a big deal overall but still just kind of redundant.

I have been wondering about this as well. On BMWs if you have the right software it is fairly easy to connect a laptop and re-code stuff like this, is anything like that possible on Merc's?

Try engaging it on a long drive and watch your position get all out of whack after an hour or 2.
I only enable it when I'm actually playing a video, and yes it works perfect.
