Is it going to look stupid if I have all the chrome converted to gloss black (window trim, drls, border of grille, and trunk piece) and then leave all the badges chrome??? Again, my wheels are OEM 19" brushed aluminum style multi spokes. Opinions?

Gloss for sure...
Not to offend others, but IMO, it look more professional for "strips" of color like trim to match the same finish (shiny or matte) of the surrounding areas.
A large chuck of area like the grill could be either. Matte seems to be the standard there.

I'm in the UK but it cost me £60 to get the diffuser dipped. A damn site cheaper than a cf diffuser and a guaranteed perfect fit

I got gloss on mine - looks amazing. I wanted to go for the BMW shadow line look, and that trim is also gloss and contrasts the matte around the BMW window trim as well. I think the contrast looks good.

Can you remove the mesh behind the grill? I would imagine that it would be a lot easier to wrap and get a cleaner look wrapping with it removed.

This is exactly what I want to do with my black C63. What product did you use and how has it held up? I am thinking it needs to be a long/narrow product to keep the window trim seamless. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just hire it done as it takes some practice to do well. Kid here in Atlanta charged me $200 complete chrome delete with matte metallic gray as I wanted to match my wheels. I plastidipped the tail pipe tips and side badges to get rid of the bling.

I did gloss on DRL because I felt like matte would stand out too much. Then I did matte carbon fiber on the window trim and license plate trim. I think it looks great. Everyone is going to have their own opinion on something like this.

Hey everyone. Decided to vinyl wrap some of the chrome pieces on my Magnetite Black sedan.
Will be wrapping the chrome surrounding the windows, the piece on the trunk, and the area surrounding the star on the grill (i'm leaving the star and two straight pieces coming out of the star chrome- like the 507 style).
The place I'll be getting the work done has recommended I use gloss black, as I'll be leaving some chrome pieces (DRL's, badges, etc). They advised going matte if I was planning on getting rid of all the chrome and potentially getting a matte finish on the wheels. My wheels will for now be staying OEM (19 " multispokes).
I've seen a ton of people using matte. Has anyone wrapped with gloss black?
Thoughts?

I also wrapped the trunk's chrome piece in matte, but I wish I had gone gloss to match the black spoiler.
