I've heard a few people say power brake launching is the best way to launch the c63 and its even better than race start. All you have to do apparently while using ESP Sport or ESP off and sport + or manual mode is hold left foot on brakes and right foot on the gas until around 1500 rpm and then let go of the brakes. Is this method true and harmless? Thanks in advance.

no different than going up a steep hill. transmission will be fine as long as you're not holding it for an absurd amount of time
