My first V8!!!
And boy is it glorious!!!
Hello everyone,
Got my first (new to me) C63 sedan. In fact, this is my first Merc. My previous car was 2011 G37S sedan. It was a really good car, but the C63 is in a different league!
The car is a 2014 C63 sedan. Has most of the important options (to me) including keyless GO, lighting package, blind spot and lane tracking, parktronic and the all important LSD. I think it also has the AMG performance media. The car only had 2800 miles when I bought it. Practically brand new!
It's just amazing to drive. Just the way I had imagined it in my head. The sound this thing produces is just intoxicating. And thats not even with any tunes on the car!
I can already see that I will be spending a lot of time in the gas station and shopping for tires at least once or twice a year!
There were a couple of things that surprised me. First, the ride. I was expecting a much more stiffer ride. But I find the ride pleasantly comfortable. Did not expect that from a C63. My buddies 2011 C63 felt much more stiffer and he did not have the AMG dev package as well.
Second, was my insurance premium. The moment I added the C63 and removed the Infiniti, it almost doubled!!! But then I noticed that GEICO had made a few assumptions. Once I took care of that, it came down to a more reasonable number. But its still $300 more than what I was paying before (6 months).
Anyway, will be getting to know the car more over the next few weeks
Already gotten a lot of information from this forum. I'm sure I'll definitely learn more.
I'm not too big on modding. But I'll probably get the eurocharged tune in the near future. The thought of 500+hp is very tempting
Have not seen many C63s in the San Diego area. Only M3s and M4s. So if there are any C63 San Diego members let me know.
Couple of quick iphone pics attached.

Congrats on the new ride!
We have another member on here too who just went from a G37 to a C63. I have my C63 and actually added a G37 to my garage! Both nice cars, but when I drive the wife's G37 the difference is night and day.
Enjoy it!

Welcome SriniAMG and congrats. You may not be heavily into modding but good thing this car doesn't require much. If nothing else, please remove those demon spawn orange sidemarkers.

Was taking a break. I needed to save money to pay off my loan which I did, so I could get a new loan to buy my father a surprise birthday present, which I just did this morning. I kept spending money on stuff I don't use from vendors and members here.Finished the paperwork and awaiting the freight of the vehicle, which would be early next week. I hope he doesn't get a heart attack lol. He's 70.
