Lowering the rear (black series)

Hey guys, just curious what options there are for lowering the rear of the CBS. What have some other CBS owners done and reccomend? Can I get away with just getting some different springs and if yes which springs are an option? Or do I have to get coil overs? Just street driving and the stock suspension already feels great but just want to lower the rear when my new wheels arrive. Also, after lowering the rear a bit will it make any big differences in the cars handling? I'm pretty sure the front will lower enough with the adjustable coilovers it comes with. Any tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thx!

None for now
Your car comes stock with KW V3 coilovers IIRC.

Thank you for the reply but that's not true for the CBS. Yes KW made the suspension but not V3 and only the front is adjustable.

sorry but I have good news for you

looking at my Black Series owners manual:
How to adjust rear suspension: "One turn corresponds to a vehicle height change of approximately 4mm. The total adjustment range is a maximum of 20mm on the wheel"

Thanks for the reply, my black series manual is in Japanese and my reading writing level isn't good enough to understand technical information. Perhaps I can order an English manual through Mercedes. The 20mm could possibly be enough of a a rear drop but I won't know until the wheels arrive. The tuning shop owner was saying it will need to come down about 3cm which is close to what you've described. So I guess I'll wait and see. Thx again for the reply
