Can anyone do anything with a MyGenius tuner with all the cables? It had tunes on it for an E63. These are not transferable.

I think it will need to be returned to EC to be unlocked (remove the VIN lock). Last I heard they charge $200 + shipping to do this. How much is it worth after that? They include the handheld with a new tune for a reasonable price.

I keep seeing these handhelds come up for sale but don't think they are worth much, if anything, if they have been locked to a VIN. Maybe someone can clarify this issue.

I flashed it back to stock and now it has a Weistec supercharger.

since you flashed it back to stock, the device can then be reset remotely for FREE (only because the car was flashed back to stock)

will this only work for a 2008E63 or will it work for any vehicle with a M156 engine?

This will work technically for any car that has an OBD2 port.

If I'm not mistaken, this is just for the handheld. Comes with no tune on there.

it works with lots of different models. it does not have to be the m156 engine, it also doesnt even have to be mercedes. but that doesnt mean it works on every car. but it works on a lot of different models.
