What's the question? All cars have their VIN visible in the lower corner of the windshield. If yours doesn't, something's blocking it.

YES it should have one. Is the hole there? Maybe a piece of paper slipped down the dash and is covering the VIN

Hi if I look in the hole it has Mercedes Benz logos printed. There is a parking ticket which has fallen behind in there but not visible covering where a VIN would be

Sounds like the VIN in the window isn't required? I lived in Australia and they only checked the frame of the car. I didn't have the VIN in the frame and they made me stamp it in. Maybe it's an Aussi thing?
