Also, yippie. Work VS-XX 19x3.5 lips came in. This will move the wheel 30mm closer to the fenders without a spacer. Then, depending on how the 305's fit, I'll run a 10,12, or 15m spacer at the absolute most. Lips will be powedercoated the current color. Tiger Drylac Series 38 - Argento Metallic.
I'm actually really digging the look of these wheels with the carbon bits around the car.
Also got me some 305/30/19's -- Hankook Evo 2's. Apparently, there much improved over the V12 Evo's that have been around forever. Yeah... We'll see. Regardless, it;s a super meaty tire and quite a bit taller than 275/30. Should fill in the black series sized arches much better.

Thanks guys.
Small update.... Got my rear lips powdercoated to match the front and....... they didn't match. Back to the drawing board. Rather than try to go back and forth trying to match the Argento Metallic, I said the hell with it, undid all 176 bolts holding the wheels together and dropped off the faces and front lips off at the powdercoaters (they still had my rears).
Car sits looking lonely right now.
But, on the bright side, no pun in tended and a clue to what's coming, I've decided to change things up a bit and am going with a powdercoated chrome from Cardinal Colors.
Pretty stoked.

Bummer! Sux you had to take them all apart! I assume you saw the color sample right? I used to work at a place that did powdercoating and the chrome powdercoat looks more like a shiny silver or a dull polished aluminum. Just an FYI.

^^ Chrome powdercoat will never have the luster of real polished chrome.
You can try PVD coating, its probably the closest to finish you are looking for.
And that sucks about your wheels. Disassembling wheels are a PITA!
I cannot tell you enough to be careful once your re-assemble them. I would use new hardware, use loctite and properly retorque all the bolts in the proper pattern.

While the name is "Chrome", I'm not actually going for chrome, nor would I ever. I'm not a fan, but I am a huge fan of the luster and sheen that "chrome" powders provide. I think it looks really unique.
