Help Wheel and tire choice

I have a 2014 amg c63 sedan with 18 wheels. Im at a total loss with this wheel and tire choice. I want to either increase in dia and/or width without any rubbing issues what so ever. I also track the car . At minimum i would like to just go plus 1 on size for the current stock wheels. Rear would be a 265 instead of 255 front would be 245. but others have gone to 19's and they look fgreat, but worry about ride quality. if the quality of ride is only slightly worse and track time is better. the 19's in a wider tire is what i want without rubbing at full turn and squat. Also I want speedo to be correct and fender look to be even... And I heard something about cruise control issues?? I dont know about this one.... Any suggestions????

My HRE are 19x9 +40 with 245/35/19 PSS & 19x10 with 275/30/19 on H&R springs.

Perfectly flush, no rub & very comfortable ride.

I just bought 265/35 rears for my 2014 stock 18s, to replace the 255/35 that was on there. Can't wait to feel it out with the wider, sticker tires!

You know, I just put some standard 265 PSS's on my OEM 5 spokes. I love the look. If my car was dropped and I had the right spacers it would be perfect.

There are really no aftermarket choices that are speaking to me. I also began to like the really fat tire look and sitting a little higher rather than a mild stretch and tucked.

So I'm not in the market for wheels as I absolutely adore my Y Spoke wheels, but I'm in the same boat as you. I've not seen wheels that I MUST have so far. Don't get me wrong, a lot out there are really nice, but nothing that I'd trade my Y Spokes for. The only thing I hate is how dang narrow the OE wheels are... Because of this, I'd either get these Y spokes widened one day or jump to an aftermarket set.

Listen to Roswell, he knows wheels!

Also check out the HRE website, beautiful wheels, amazing customer service, can customize the color on most of their wheels and so stylish! I get compliments on my wheels basically every time I take my car out. When ever I walk to or away from my car I can't stop looking at my car and wheels and always smiling haha. The wider tires are noticeable for grip too.

Good luck!

Nah, I'm no wheel expert .. Just sharing my experience with past trial & error. :P

I'm glad everything worked out for u, the wheels really transformed ur car. Great choice on being different with the satin bronze finish.

Conti's DW and DWS have very soft sidewalls. PSS do as well but not as much.

I don't have that issue. I don't throw my car into corners much, though. I just cruise around and get from a to b quickly.

And yes, I know, I've been slow. I was swapping cars so damn fast it didn't make sense to mod. Heck, my black c63 was already lowered when I got it, I just bought wheels.

I've kept this car long enough. I owe more than it is worth because of all the swapping around, so for now I am looking to pay into the car more, lower that principal, refinance and then teach this place how it is done.

Simple. Clean. Correct.
