WTB:Renntech/Arma carbon intake

Ouch! Personal opinion I don't like it! Reminds me a little bit of the grupp M CF intake. It might hurt more the engine than what it is intended for. It might not help with dissipating all the heat generated.
I would definitely go for the Renntech one instead.

Clk Dtm c63 bs u wont wanna know the rest
I have a feeling that Arma sort of trap heat in the engine bay more than help with the cooling though.

Estimated HP gain is 10.
So that equates to 280 for 1hp.....
LOL
I really do like the Renntech ones but i can't simply seem to justify paying such an amount for it right now,not especially after buying new shoes..
Need to recharge my credit card first.

I'm actually either looking to supercharge my car OR have a stage 2 mod with headers/pipes/intake/tune.
What worries me the most is the fact that i previously owned a E92 M3 with ESS SC pushing 625whp which makes it almost undrivable in my country.
Pardon me for being cheapskate but i'm gonna get used parts to try out before i move on to Weistec stage 2 in time to come as i'm pretty happy with the car handling as of now.
Enjoying the modification process !

It's pretty ridiculous.

If you couldn't drive the m3 with that much power a c63 with fbo like mines will have more kick down low then the blown m3.

Seriously, stay away from the ARMA airboxes. Any company that markets how great their air intake technology is because it has electric fans in them which turbocharge the air delivery creating massive horsepower (this has been debunked time and time again), are a bunch of fly-by-night snake-oil peddlers.
Stick with either the ROW or Renntech airboxes, and maybe the Gruppe M style ram air which is also good for a few hp. I have the Carbonio, and while I'm perfectly happy with them and they seem to make power on my car, it's only fractionally better than the ROW at best and the cost is outrageous (although they look great).

We did a test on a dragstrip with stock boxes with K&Ns and Carbonios boxes with K&Ns. the et and trap after 8 passes was the same.
I date logged the air flow in the MAFs and the flows the same.
The front portion GroupM or knock offs work . we knocked off .2 on et and gained trap speed by more then 1mph.
this i never dateloggeg YET.
