90%finished:c63 black series sedan ver.
just share some work recently done on my sedan.
i am a bit of tired of narrow body and painful spinning tire @ rear- and i got chance to find a set of OEM front/rear bumper of BS - and so work started~
First i had to order fiberglass front fender / sideskirt and rear fender since there is no way to find these geniume BS parts for sedan (well later i got realized that front OEM fenders are applicable for sedan)
it tooks a whole week to modify the fiberglass parts to fit the OEM one- they might be good to fit fiberglass bumper but with OEM? its nightmare.
the order of accessory are also headache, i checked ECStuning/MBparts but they dont allow me to order the rear carbon towing cover (they called it theft relevant parts and i need to provide bs purchase proof...)so i am still working on it. and i have to cut my lovely akrapovic exhaust tips....
and retrofit 20inchs vorsteiner wheels.
i am quite satisfied with the result - though some details need to be improved(front fender, canard and towing cover)
here are some pics.

Can we get a pic from behind but low enough and with enough light to see how much tire you're laying down now?
Looks absolutely amazing though. Amazing.

Everything's looking good except those hood vents, are they AC Schnitzer? Am I the only one that thinks they ruin the look of the car? Also what's up with the rear badge? Does it say "s amg"?
Anyway I'm not here to try to be mean, just giving my opinions and honestly think all the other work you've done is looking great!

Lovely done. Looks great all round even the wheel choice compliments the car. How about a steering swap for my old W209 55 steering for yours hey?

i do actually like your HRE much much better but from budget control (smile) point of view, vorsteiner is ok for appearance.
and forget about the s badge - just a small show off : it is not a bs at all, but a special car to me

thx C63amg tokyo, it is fair comment - some of my friends also dislike the hood vents these ac schnitzer pairs are left from my previous bmw, i dont use a bs hood since my engine bay is modified with Gruppem RAW intake and i am a bit worry about heavily rain here in my country. but again thank you for the inputs.

On another note, what size rubber can you run in the rears now? I'm running 305s. Insanely better grip then my previous c63 which was on 255s lol

Glad u weren't offended by my comments, everyone has different tastes (this time me about the vents). Also glad your car is special to u. I respect owners who love their cars! I like your wheels and almost everything about your car! Yea the HREs are pricey haha. In Tokyo they cost me about 15k $ with rubber lol.

Very nice! Reminds me of what I did a bit over a year ago.....
How did you deal with the rocker panels? Did you make those custom, or did you modify the BS ones? They do not fit in the rear at all as they are.
Also, please watch the exhaust ends - they do not really line up all that well with the nozzles in the rear bumper. Unlikely to be an issue ever in street driving, but I ended up melting a piece of my rear bumper when tracking the car. They apparently did not line up well enough.
Enjoy!

Dat booty doe. Mm. Mm. Mm.
In all seriousness, good work. Not sure which I like more, the interior or exterior. But its hard choosing between a 10/10 and 10/10.
Keep the updates coming.

Guess you grabbed those China-Produced Fenders? Judging from the fact you're in China too, haha.
I've been looking at those kits, though, they seem to have quite some fitness issues; but that's not a huge deal if you have a competent body-shop as you do though!

I'd not run 25 series on those rims, I have the exact rims and from running 25 series on the rear the barrels keep cracking, and it happens fast, easily within several months and it's always on the back of the barrel, you won't notice it from the front
