Not a fan at all. I might get some heat for saying this, but Merc seems to almost always completely botch the lines of c-class coupes. The rear ends are just so tall that it makes it look like 2 door station wagon looking thing.

Not a fan either.
But with a few mods these things could be as fast as our W204s... maybe even quicker, right?

not good looking with the chrome + white. might look better with a blackout package, but definitely lacking compared to the next gen c63s coupe's details

w204 will always be best looking though with the distinct design compared to mer going the audi/bimmer route of the models being carbon copies scaled up and down

EDIT: and don't get me started on using the C43 AMG name on a car with mass produced V6 engine

S550 on order
I think you guys are forgetting the world economy is under going a change and transfer of wealth etc ...it's just business, Do you guys forget MB probably has share holders and a board of directors? Not much a CEO can do when he has a board of directors telling him to do something else otherwise they'll just fire him. Their doing what any corporation does to thrive and survive, they adapt and change to the market place.

This new generation of kids can't afford all these big V12 AMGs etc, cause they're broke and in debt upto their ears but still want a MB so MB has to offer these idiots some low end MB otherwise they'll just go trash talk MB as a brand which isn't good. It's life, it's survival in the corporate world.

If you guys want to blame anyone, blame society, everyone's in debt up to an amount they'll never pay off and everyone's obsessed with keeping up with the joneses.

Now enough of these dumb threads on a c63 forum lol, majority of C class owners are women to begin with so your SOL already if you think owning a c-class is "alpha"

Maybe instead of focusing on these low end MBs, you guys should be putting your efforts towards buying a few classes above a C-class so then you don't have to deal with people who own C43s, I mean do you guys seriously want to be stuck in a c-class your entire lives? Lol...The end goal should be like a pagani huayra or something of that caliber

Why do your posts say the same crap over and over? You talk as if everyone on this forum drives a C class because it's all they can afford instead of what they choose to drive given a slew of factors only one of which is finances. Go preach somewhere else.

I dont think a C43 is such a bad idea for the brand. It will help create awareness of the AMG brand in general and anyways, non-enthusiasts will look at it as just another C class and on the other hand, people who know their *****, will know what the real deal is.
I am curious to see what will happen to the One man one engine philosophy! I am sure they will include a * somewhere and at the bottom of the page will be long disclaimer that V6's are excluded from the philosophy

Yes I do! I have no use for a car few classes above the C class just to show the world that I have arrived. I have no use for a fancy rear seat with acres of legroom because I dont use one. Sure, I dont mind a Pagani but I will still need a "entry level" C63 as a DD.

Comments like, "do you want to be stuck in a C Class all your lives" is so dumb on so many levels I don't know where to begin.

In 2007, with the release of the C63 AMG W204, you could get a V8 with over 450 hsp that would blow the doors off of any Maserati ($160K), Ferrari 360 or f430 ($100K), Jag XJ ($110+), Porsche 911, boxster, etc ($100K+) for $60K in power and performance. It still is a beast of a contender.

The only other car that is worth every penny is the GTR.

If you think you need to spend over $100K to try and show off that you have money and power, and that your car is an out performer, you are an idiot.
