I couldn't pass up on this stunning 2010 M3 with only 18k miles on it.

So different than the C63. This feels more civilized and I loved the EDC and DCT. Have not driven it much yet but I am sure I'll miss the C63 with time.

Here are some dealer pictures:

I do have a Black Series shift knob and "Go!!!!" start button for sale.

$175 shipped for the knob and $75 for the start button

congrats on the new ride. great color for that car. I have never driven one myself but my understanding is you will miss the AMG torque :P enjoy it with health though!

Congrats. After selling my E46 M3, the decision was either E90 M3 or C63. Both are awesome cars, but also very different from one another.

I'm curious to what you think a couple of weeks down the road between the two. Like others have said, you'll probably miss the torque and being able to shift at 2k.

What are your thoughts on the steering. From what I've read and heard, the steering on the C63 is quite a bit better. I've driven a couple of E9X M3's and the steering never stuck out to me to be on par with the C63's.

You do for sure have a leg up with the DCT though. Congrats and enjoy in good health.

Is the "GO!!!!" a sticker? If so, I'll grab that button. PM me.

Anddddddddd I'll just go ahead and start the betting pool. 24 months until back in an AMG. 5 dollah buy in, you tell me fewer months or more.

Haha, in all seriousness, M's are great machines as well once you look beyond your personal biases. Enjoy in good health.

I do commute 65 miles daily and that is the primary reason I got rid of the C63. Being a BMW by nature it has a heavier steering wheel. Only driven it 10 miles so far so curious to see myself as well.

It's not a sticker, it's built in underneath the clear coat. I live downtown so we can meet up somewhere this Thursday or over the weekend.

24 months. My wife only gave me 6 months until I do so.

It so is. I love the engine and the car for the most part. The newer ones are too complicated. A neighbor of mine who has the new m3 for a year now wants to go back to a e90.

I came from the BMW world, so very familiar with the cars. I had an E36 M3 to E39 M5 to 2000 Z3 M Coupe. The DCT transmission in the newer BMWs is outstanding. I only wish the C63 came with a true dual clutch.

E90 M3 sedans are gorgeous. And that gray color...gray is such a damn sexy color!

Anyway... the BMWs are just different machines. I loved all the cars I owned...but the C63 is the third AMG I've had and I don't have any plans to go back to BMW

Unless, of course, I find a pristine, mint Turbo 2002

Very nice buy! The tq is def not there but the ability to ring that motor out is likely sublime! Just keep an eye out for the rod bearing issues. Other than that. Enjoy the car. I have not driven one yet but would love to. And the sedan is the way to go with that thing. They look nice and stout.

Mini hijack--I have Keyless Go but no button. I can get a standard OEM button on ebay. Are those just plug and play? Anything to hook up?

Thanks! Can't go wrong with an M3, OP. Enjoy!

Downtown... Chicago? I live in Rochester NY, 10 hour drive. Much cheaper to USPS it in a small package envelop thingamabob.

Yes, you'll see the back of the button can be pushed directly into the key hole. Press and go, no coding necessary. Just make sure your key is in your pocket!

After 100 miles of driving I love this thing. The trans is as good as the DSG on the Audi S4 I had. If the C63 had a dual clutch and shed couple hundred pounds it would be amazing. Perhaps that's what the new C63 Coupe is?!

I owned 3 AMG's as well and after working in the car industry for 4 years now I appreciate lightweight and balanced cars a bit more. I am thinking a Cayman S might be in the horizon but who knows.

Thought you were the same guy that inboxed me and is local.

If he does not come through by the weekend I can definitely ship it to you.

On the street no, but on a track there really no denying the C63 wouldn't be as nimble as an E9X M3. I don't expect it to though, as it was built for a different purpose.

Ultimo Motors in Warranville, IL.

I sold both those mustangs the past couple of weeks. The blue one had some work done to it and was perfectly set up for the track.

You see, the reason I got a 4-door M3 and a 'grown up' color was to avoid attention. I know what a C63 can do as I had mine tuned and wouldn't dare bother to race one.

nice. I always liked the looks of the M cars, but love how raw the c63 is and i see far fewer of them. Maybe one day i'll be swayed over to the M side of life.

I bet it is much more comfortable, i know my p30 packaged car has very very harsh suspension over bumpy roads and it can get kind of tiring after a while.
