And for those who are just going to jump down my throat who had high performance cars at 19, admit it, you got lucky once or twice haha.

Hopefully the driver is a human in the sense the guilt he'll be feeling for almost killing a friend will cause a lifetime of better decisions.

I actually talked to this kid when I was in Vancouver about a week before he totaled his c63 ..guy was a total cocky idiot that bragged about doing "200 everywhere" ...guess he got what he deserved ..at least we all know we didn't buy a tin can though

Unfortunately these kids are very common.

When in University I knew many students from Hong Kong with expensive cars, and more $$$ than brains.

For many of them $$$ means nothing. Some of these guys were getting $50,000-100,000/month allowances!!!!

Sad to say this but I agree this is a great publicity for MB AMG. Driver has a little star above his head. He should stop for moment and realize what has happened. That might be his life changer right here (hopefully).

Yes, South Africa is run by an extremely corrupt ANC government who only want to enrich themselves. They do nothing to help the poor, but instead award massive tenders to family and friends. So the only people getting rich are people within the ANC, and their family and friends. I mean our stupid president spent over R200 million of the tax payers money to upgrade his personal residence.
I could go on an on about all the bull**** that our government gets up to, but its depressing, so I would rather talk about cars.

Return to swear in as a Canadian citizen...I guess that wouldn't be happening anymore. It's amazing he didn't look into what would have happened to him upon returning if he had originally left the country to evade the arrest. Maybe he thinks it will be an "out of sight, out of mind" kind of thing. Who knows, his family's money and connection will likely get him out of this one, too.

Speaking of Richmond...I remember reading that any places in the world with that name will have lots of Chinese. LOL interesting but maybe true.

Same thing with all that reckless driving by a LaFerrari and GT3 in Beverly Hills last year. Then the alleged owners of the cars took his rides immediately and left back to Qatar and nothing can be done and now everything is quiet. Has anyone heard what becomes of that? Nothing, right?! Yes, money talks, along royalty and "diplomatic immunity."

Yeah they are dime a dozen here...come from overseas with ***-loads of $ and buy everything cash. There are some in my g/f's apt complex that just keep buying new cars (Maserati, Porsches, Benzes)...they put In-n-Out and powder puff stickers on them (ON THE PAINT). They can't drive worth ****. They do the same with houses (they always come in with gigantic amounts of cash for a down payment or all cash and make it hard for normal people to be competitive in the housing market...annoying).
