Hi guys, so after much searching I can't really find any guidelines for this. I purchased a yakima roof rack system so that I can take my C63 to road races with my bike mounted up top. My only trouble is that the plastic flip up covers need to be removed in order to accommodate the feet of the roof rack and I can't really tell how to remove them? I already cracked one attempting to pull it out Has anyone tried to remove them??

I removed mine.... by breaking all 4. just purchased 4 new for $50.00. I might modify mine so they come off easier next winter.


I think to actually remove them you need to pull off that full black trim from the pictures at the dealership when I purchased new covers.
