My car has keyless go with aan starting button. Starting the engine allways works but sometimes I get the warning "key not detected "
Do I need to replace batteries or is there another solution?

Happens sometimes. I have a pair of shorts that the keys don't seem to play nice with. I have to take them out of the shorts for the car to detect it.

I was getting this frequently. Even happened while driving once. I tried replacing the battery, made no difference. I needed a new key anyway, as the car only came with one, and the new one doesn't seem to have this issue.

haha. the keys dont take kindly to static electricity fyi, or rfi blockers - like wallets, purses etc...

New battery helps for sure though...at least it did for me. I'd do a new battery for $0.50 just for the off chance of it helping.
