@BLKROKT-What did you do with the DRLs? Were you able to put a resistor to trick the computer or are you getting the error messages every time you start the car?

More progress by Harry and his guys at Bergen Imports (or “ricing out” I guess). Carbon BS hood vents and center bumper hole with modified support for direct flow to the trans cooler (thanks to joe_quax for that idea ). Full hood and bumper repaint with Xpel going on in the next few days. Looks so different without all the rock chips haha.

Came out AWESOME!
If they are the Mode Carbon vents, do they come with housing/mounting brackets? Or are they just designed to replace the OEM for carbon fiber?
I'm wondering if I have to order anything from MB to get them to fit? (Part Numbers?)
did you use this rough sketch for measurements?

Thanks guys. Yeah Harry took a bunch of measurements off a 507 hood and just cut holes. There’s no underlying mounting brackets, the vents (not sure of the manufacturer, but they are 100% carbon like the MC ones) are not recessed like the factory ones but sit just on the edge of the holes and are epoxied in and raised about 1mm above the hood surface. Might look to take down the outside edge at some point in the future, but they’ll work like this for now.
Got some more adjustability from the UPD rear suspension arms, so was able to lower the car another 1/2” as well. Car is real tight with all the new suspension components and the sways have made a huge difference in steering transitions. Can’t wait to get it on track.

Here’s how the front end sits now. The new center opening to get more air to the trans cooler worked. Think I’ve bought a few more track days before it needs to be rebuilt.
Had some brake cooling ducts from a 996 GT3 RS fit to my front thrust arms. Need to look at redoing these when I put my Syncro Design Works monoball arms in June. Would like them to hang under the car further to scoop up more air.
Memorial Day project. Front dive planes. Going 1” wider in front and my tire is already sticking out now. Need to find someone in the NYC area who can cut 3/32” aluminum sheet to the shape of this template. If anyone has a lead I’m all ears. I’d do it myself but there’s too high a risk of the sides coming out shaped differently and that would irritate the hell out of me.
