P/N for the right head gasket is 156-016-00-20 which I don't see so it looks like they just went the one bolt method.
Thanks for pointing that out. I called the shop and the invoice had the original part numbers and was not updated at invoicing. The part #156-050-02-25 valve buckets were installed.

Regarding the head bolts, they did the "one at a time" method. I'm crossing my fingers.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with those buckets.

While I was in that far into the motor, I thought it would be a good idea to install the updated component.

Also needed coolant and some other bits and pieces.

Finally, make sure they have the specialized tools in the shop before they start the job ...

What website are you buying parts from? I haven't seen buckets that cheap ever.

That looks like the old ECS site maybe, those prices are from 2 years ago, so you won't find them for that price anymore.

Why not get the SLS buckets? Does anyone know what is the difference between the latest bucket version for M156 vs M159?

I'm not going to look up the part numbers again, but I recall that last time this came up, the part number was different for the SLS BLACK SERIES buckets.
The different ones are not SLS, but SLS Black series.
