Amazing work from the Russian enthusiasts at Oil-Club.ru! Probably any 5W-40 oil you'd want to use in the M156 has been tested here.

Humm, unless I'm reading it wrong, the Amsoil Euro 5W40 actually looks decent.

Yeah, I've never seen the logic to paying the Amsoil premium but the base stock is probably top-notch and the oil now carries MB 229.5 and Porsche A40 approvals.
