Metal Rear Fenders
Not yet complete waiting on the wheels to be done to make sure the fronts don't need some work too.

Awesome! Mine goes in for the same next week. Can you share some details on how yours were done? How was metal added - did you use a universal metal fender extension and have it welded on, or what?
Looks AMAZING |
Well shop is doing the work and I believe he is doing everything from scratch using his own materials and welding and forming it to shape. Since these photos it's been primed and waiting for the wheels to be fitted before paint. I know the extension is about 30mm and it's taken over 45hrs to do so far.

Sub'd! Looks amazing so far.

Did you give them the wheels to build the fenders around? That's usually the better route.

That looks fantastic man. The wheel openings look a bit different than the HMS kits.
Just an observation: the wheel openings on HMS kits are very circular, while the wheel openings on the rear OE fenders are more oval like. Looks like the shop kept the more oval look to it. |
I really love how these look. But as for getting the job done to my car (if I wanted to) I just have a huge feeling of fear because its a relatively big job.
|
Wow that looks really good. Got the shape just right. I'm using your pics to show my guy what I want, well done.
|
This keeps the car looking a bit more OEM'ish. The shape is bang on.

For some reason though, the black series has a more circular wheel opening than the sedan which is the reason behind the HMS fender shape. I truly love both designs and I think these sorts of medications completely transform the look of the car. |

Looks great, glad to see all these build threads progressing along fantastically!

Mine is not progressing at all. It is still at the same stage as in the pic sitting in the corner of the shop. The wheels getting refinished delayed the process causing my place in line to reset with the shop as he had other due dates to meet.
I can show you guys the wheels though. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...5b6153892d.jpg |
