Ok, I'm not so up on all these terms, but what is wrapping? The roof trim on my c300 is peeling and I would love to get it fixed.

Wrapping the trim in vinyl wrap film.

Peeling roof rails C300

The rails are coated with the automotive equivalent of "Scotch" tape. Unfortunately by the time you notice a problem, it has deteriorated to the point where it won't stay together as you peel it.
I found the tape can be loosened with acetone. I wrapped paper towel around the rail and soaked it with atone for an hour and the tape came off quite easily. The rails look fine without any additional treatment

I was actually thinking to do the same (peel it all off and leave it like that).
