JR Tuning gearbox remap
Hi. Could anyone tell me is i do tcu reset is this delete gearbox remaping? I have this tool. Or if i plug this in obd twice maybe that tool takeoff the program. I go dyno next week and id like to test regular and remaping. :) thanks. :)

Never heard of the JR Tuning Gearbox Remap. However, I don't think think a TCU Adaption reset should delete it.

you wont loose the settings if you plug the unit into the OBD2 multiple times with the ignition ON.
The only way to clear the changed made by the unit is to follow the same install procedure with the ignition turned OFF |
Excuse my ignorance, maybe I'm just dumb here. But can someone explain to me exactly how this thing "tunes" the "gearbox" when the TCU can't even be accessed/written via the OBDII port? All other true transmission tunes (i.e. Weistec) require the TCU to be removed and shipped out for bench tuning. :rolleyes:

I don't really care enough to waste my time doing that, because I already have my TCU properly tuned. Thanks for the tip though, it was directed more towards the OP and/or people reading this thread who might know how this magical device works.
I sent off an email and will let you guys know what their response is regarding OBD tuning of the TCU. |

I been in us many times. LA Miami etc. Holidays and people is different than europe... If somebody say something us that is allways true.
