I just noticed that there's some kind of cartridge gizmo located in the upper-left corner of the glove box. You don't even see it unless you lower your head and look up into the box. I can't find anything in the user manual about it. What the heck is it? Looks like a radar detector or hard drive or something...

Little-known fact: When the C63 was first being designed in Affalterbach back in the early 2000's, there had been a local resurgence in older Nintendo games and consoles. Particularly Super Mario Bros and Donkey Kong Jr, as you'd expect. So the designers thought to integrate one into the glovebox as a secret 'Easter egg' for owners to someday find. If you happen to have any old NES games you can take that box apart to plug in the cartridge and play the game using your steering wheel buttons and display on the Command screen.

Look up Glove Box in the manual. It's for venting.

Depending on vehicle equipment, an AUX
socket or a media interface is located in the
glove box. For information on Audio AUX
mode, see (Y page 166) or on media

operating instructions.
The glove box can be ventilated

If your car isn't equipped with comand navi, likely Becker map pilot.
I used to own GLK with Becker map pilot and had this in the glove box.
