Transmission problem after tune.

Transmission problem after tune.
Hey Guys,
Unfortunately instantly after I tuned my car I had this problem where if I drive my C63 cold it will make this grinding sensation and shake the transmission at high RPMs. Once the car warms up though it's 100% better no noises etc (normal AMG). It almost feels like the transmission oil is running low and when the car gets hotter the oil expands and it runs fine. But I hear the transmission units are sealed and also I don't see any oil on the floor of the garage. Engine oil is prompting for top up and is currently at the first brown plastic thing on the dip stick, so I might need a top up there. Could the engine oil level be effecting it? Only got that topped up 4 weeks ago to full. Hopefully it's nothing major. I am booking in at Mercedes to check this problem in 2 days, unfortunately here in Australia we have a public holiday on Monday. If anyone has any advice I would be most appreciative.
Thanks in advance
Kane.

Mercedes sent out a notice a couple years ago saying not to do high rpms or WOT while the oil is less than 160F. Maybe just baby the car a bit more until its warmed up before getting on it.

Thanks for your help, im talking it takes a good 20 minutes to warm up and not shake the transmission. Also I can be as small as 3k RPM and Have it shake. I literally keep it under 3k revs by switching gears really quick until it's 20 mins warmed up.

Maybe revert back to the stock tune and see if it still happens. If it does then you know it may just be the transmission and not the tune.

ohh sorry I forgot to add that I reverted it to stock tune today and it still felt the transmission. It's just strang it runs perfectly normal after 20 minutes. Makes me think it's nothing too major!

Maybe check your motor and transmission mounts. My car felt like the engine rocked hard on a cold startup and then the car vibrated pretty bad. It took me a bit to see some dried red fluid on the passenger side engine mount. No fluid was under the car or on the floor.

Sounds like an engine mount, especially considering your mileage. Just open the hood and look to see if there is any redish fluid or residue on the mounts or the undertray.

I agree that it sounds like mounts. The engine runs smoother after its warm, so that's why you don't notice as much vibration.

Quick update guys - Took it to my Mercedes Dealership. They told me that both engine mounts were busted. Also they said I may as well replace transmission mount as well. So that is good news I guess. Next question is where can I get aftermarket Engine mounts delivered to Australia?
Thanks

As far as I know, there are no aftermarket mounts. I plan to see if someone can make some poly mounts out of my broken ones.

Yeah I think you're right. Here is Australia the cheapest I can find for 1 is $170 AUD and the Stealership want $275 AUD for 1!!!! Pretty insane if you ask me! But then again it is a Mercedes and it is an AMG

To be fair, "Anything" can be DIYed.
But, do you have enough jacks/stands and what-not to lift the engine up slightly to get it off?
I would think that you'd be able to do it, since you did your head bolts yourself. However, it'd be a huge *****, and honestly, probably well worth the money to pay somebody to do it.
