That's what I'm talking about. From the factory, the heads are already pretty well optimized. There's not a lot of room for improvement with just a port and polish job.

I went and seen higgings heads when i had my heads off as i was looking at porting them

When the guy looked at my heads he nearly had a hard attack

He compared my heads to LS heads and he said these are the biggest ports his ever seen on a stock car he said he could port them but i had to wait 3 3months i grabbed my heads and went on my merry way back to the shop to give them a clean and put them back on

i will eventually do my heads and i will report back on gains and dyno charts but not anytime in the next 3 months

i would like to see the dyno sheets to confirm 40hp

its not that i dont believe it but confirmation would be great

I sourced some heads from Dime racing for a customer i will post up some pics soon

Yes, I believe my dyno run with ecu tune, and longtube headers showed around 430-440 whp (can't remember now).

I'd be curious as to what the actual dyno gains were with the LT headers and tune.

My gains at EC in Houston on my 507 from just the V5 tune were 17 whp (427.6 to 444.85) with a 13 gain in torque.

Added ROW boxes after but haven't found the time to see the additional gain, I'm guessing maybe 10 whp, so think I'm around 455 whp now.

My C63 sedan is decade 1 - October build. I was thinking end of Nov delivery. Reading this thread gives me hope of a early to mid Nov pick up.

What are you talking about? Sounds like you should be in the W205 forum...in a conpletely unrelated thread. :nix:

My english was the issue apparently? That's funny. Should have read more carefully.

Yes, it showed about a 40whp jump after the p&p. Even I had my head scratching to see if it made sense. But it is what it is.

I'll find out better what the actual number is hopefully in few weeks on their new dyno.

Did the ported heads make a difference in power?

I actually did feel a little more pull at higher speeds, and pulls hard, after the ecu recalibration.

No, it was my reading comprehension problem. My bad, I shouldn't have said that. I was a bit on tilt that day.

The number still doesn't jive IMO, but whatever. As long as you're happy with it that's all that matters.
