2012 SRT8 pops and gargles as the revs fall in gear. Stock cats/mopar exhaust/resonator removed.
2004 Viper SRT10 pops and gargles as revs fall through gears. Stock cats/aftermarket exhaust.
Planing on leaving cats in the C63 but will most likely be putting in eurocharged Xpipe to replace the resonator. I expect it will pop and gargle more.

no res? yeah no wonder it pops more
a Viper V10 engine? Of course that thing is going to sound like a semi truck while it idles ..it's a V10...
not every car is the same, c63s have 2 cats a res and mufflers to quite it down plus headers that choke the engine harder then death grip
also EC said they run this tune lean which does the opposite of popping etc and leaning the engine out to much over time will make it go boom one day
if you want more pops tell EC you want a A/F ratio of around 10-12 on WOT anything higher then 13ish and one day you will WOT that bad boy and you'll hear the biggest boom you will ever hear

My point was they all have cats and still pop and gargle.
I like the tune as is. Works great for me!

Just sent email and waiting to pay for the tune . Once I get it and installed, I will report back.
Chose to get rev limiter to 7500 and gurggles/pops (I don't care what you say, this sh*t makes me giggle like a fat kid with candy).

To those nagging baster. Do you like to work for free? If not, shut the hell up. 75 or 125 is still reasonable for an upgrade if you really want it. No one is poiting a gun at you to do the upgrade. Im happy with my v5 and i dont need more pops or leaner fuel.

I didn't specify anything, but the file was called v6-burble-7200
First impressions is that the throttle map does feel smoother, by my low tech butt dyno I can't feel any power change...
The sound is very different at high rpms when you let your foot off the gas... not a "burble" but more like "crackity-crack-crack-crack". I'm not sure I love that sound for the AMG yet... but I have to go out of my way to make it and it is very consistent. If I find out those cracks are flames... my boys are gonna love it if they are following me in my wife's car...

To Eurocharged:
Is it possible to order V6 tune, 7500rpm, w/ cold start, NO flames, NO burbles, but with downshift reV-match BLIP? If so is there a certain build date model year you need to do blip with 7G? Furthermore, are their any improvements in shift speeds over the V5?
Also, does the 7500rpm mod fix the early up shift commonly found on the 1st-2nd gear shifts on stock AMGs? This is very irritating and wastes quite a bit of the power and in first by shifting early
Inquiring 6.3L owner ...
Thanks

I have no affiliation with this tune and run a tune with stock exhaust system and I got 2-3times more burble and pops out the back end.
I run a very lean a/f ratio and can post it up for mjames and don't feel like getting into it and I'm sure eurocgarged is like omfg with this guy.
there are hundreds of maps in this car and open loop and closed loop with literally hundreds of different off throttle and part throttle along with load and rpms where the tuner can add fuel part throttle and light load to get the burbles and pops.
my car sounds like it's straight pipes and has OEM exhaust and also a lean af going wot on the dyno.

Just got EC V6 flashed today.
Coming from V5... the throttle engagement is smoother. Feels more refined under normal driving.
I requested V6-7500-Burble but the tune came back entitled V6-7200-Burble...
The 'burble' is pretty crazy. More of a loud 'crack'.. kind of sounds like gunshots when you lift off the throttle. Had me laughing out loud in my car haha. Did any of you guys notice the tune adapt over time? Reason I ask is because the throttle jerks the car forward pretty violently when I get back on it after a high RPM release. Even with the softest possible touch. Definitely not normal....

Is adaptation still functioning in a tune or is the amount of possible adaptation part of the tune?

It's a pretty violent jerk. I even noticed it at 3500RPM as I was cradling the car in traffic.
Here's a scenario:
Lift at ~4000RPM
Let engine compress down to 3500RPM
Get back on throttle and it jerks forward violently at the first touch of the throttle
I'm gonna get some more seat time with the tune tonight. I'm hoping it just needs time to adapt. Otherwise I'm going to revert back to V5.

Quick question about v6.
Did you just upload v6 to the MyGenius, and the WRITE it to the car?
Or did you convert back to stock.
Remove the v5 from MyGenius, and then upload v6?

^ The handheld can hold multiple files at once. Just upload the V6 to your handheld and then write over the v5 that's on your car. No need to revert back to stock before going to a new tune right afterwards.
