2013 c63 low coolant

I'm at 43k miles and just had the service for transmission done. I started my car today and got the low coolant warning and when I backed
Up I saw a fresh puddle of coolant?

Could be from the expansion tank, the rad, or the hoses. Did you notice any spray patterns under the hood or in the engine bay? Could even be a loose cap.

My light went on the other day when the temp in the am was -5C but disappeared later...tank was a little low.

I had slowwwwly leaking coolant on my last vehicle for 6 years but never found the problem...

I just came back from the dealer. They had the car for 2 hour and ran a pressure test and didn't find anything.

This is the leak I saw. It must have happened upon cold start because by the time i left it was already dried up. Last night was first night where it was really cold and my car is parked outside. I don't see anything in the engine bay everything looks good. I see what appears to be old dried coolant from long ago in some places but it looks really old.

Doing some more searching and reading and noticed for the 12/13 C63 with low coolant issue were all in cold temp and happened when parked at incline. I was parked at incline and it was really cold but doesn't explain the the liquid under the car?

I remember when I saw the puddle I used a napkin to dip into the puddle but it didnt change color, napkin stayed white.

I had the heat on auto so I doubt there is ac condensation? Can that happen with heat on because my AC light stays lit. I love the car and cars in general but mechanically not that good with them but I always try to educate and learn myself.

Where was the puddle in relation to your car? Did they top off your fluids with the service? I had a similar situation after service and it turned out my wiper fluid reservoir had a crack/leak in the side of it.

Having heard more of the story, my guess is the water is AC condensation and your coolant was low bc it was really cold outside.

+1 on this. It's not just the C63 - all cars have some tiny air "bubbles" left in the system when they are filled that it make take years for them to be filled... causing a slight coolant level drop from where you started. Then the temperature drops, the fluid itself contracts and you eventually get the low lever warning. It has happened once on every single one of my Mercs as it was getting cooler outside... and there have been no issues after an initial top-up on any of them.
