I have a 2012 w/P31. Picked up the car from Beshoff in June 2015 and finally drove it home. Took it easy during the drive home, never exceeding 195mph during my drive; and only blipped over 7500rpm a couple of times (nothing serious and certainly no kick downs). So I figure I was good to the engine and tranny for better than 4000miles. Present mileage is 80,000.

When I started the car as normal this morning, from inside the cabin I heard a distinct ticking noise. Checked under the hood and with my scientific and mechanical analysis, the ticking seemed to come from the top side near the rear of the engine's manifold.

The ticking noise is real scary since I know I've practically babied this car thus far. So obviously, this incident was quite a scare then my mom came in the room and when she heard about the story she got scared and said your moving with your auntie and uncle in bel air. I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror. If anything I could say that this cab was rare but I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air! I pulled up to a house about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabby yo, home smell you later! Looked at my kingdom I was finally there to settle my throne as the prince of bel-air!
