Eurocharged V5 Dyno Before and After
1 Attachment(s)
Being new to the C63 i haven't seen many direct before and after numbers when it comes to tunes here on the forums. I also wanted to contribute some information to this forum that has given me so much knowledge when I purchased my car.
Dyno was done at European Auto Source in Anaheim CA on a Dynojet. Car is a 2009 C63 with 102K miles on it. Only mods are Weistec ROW boxes and Weistec dry filters. 91 octane fuel was used Highest baseline was 383 Hp 375 tq Then loaded the tune and did a few non charted pulls for the ECU to adapt and then got the following 430hp 391 tq. |
Nice! That's about what I made. 380 whp and then 426 whp. I wonder what v5 vs v6 would make. They claim 5-10 more hp but you can see that much from the first to the last pull.

Nice still strong motor with over 100k miles great to see thanks

Looks like HP and T both fell out at 7,000 rpm, so I'm guessing that the test was run with the transmission in C mode. Would HP have gone higher if the engine was allowed to run to 7,200 prm redline?

Good gains! The M156 at 102K still running strong.

My base run rpms dropped of at 6k. I believe that's just how the stock ecu is mapped to reduce the power on the motor since its detuned.
I was able to achieve a 68whp gain with my v5 but I also had a resonator and 2nd cat delete on top of the air boxes and filters. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...1e3e32fbb.jpeg |
