I just don't understand why this wasn't a recall...

Granted I can save $400 if I order the parts my self but then the work won't be warrantied from the shop.

Cam adjusters are $650 each. The M156 uses 4 so that $2,600 just in parts not exactly cheap, neither is PnP since everyone is throwing that around.

The 4 are sold:
exhausts by the pair and intake individual. I see the pair online for $520 and the individual ones for 520 each. So the total can be less than $1600. The coated washers look like they're $6 each.

Yea for something like this I don't blame you. 400.00 seems like a good chunk of money until another headbolt goes sideways. Then you have to pay for it to be pulled apart all over again? No thank you.

Not sure what you mean. The replacement bolts are a different design and shouldn't really fail.

Oh just meant if. Theres always a chance that even the updated ones could fail. Saving 400.00 and having no warranty sounds too risky for me. I rather just have them order the parts, pay the 400 and keep the warranty just in case.
