Yeah I've done some reading on the headbolt issue, I still don't know exactly what a failing headbolt will cause besides the engine hydrolocking/white smoke coming out the exhaust.

well my car done exactly 100% the same thing as yours...
But now my car isnt cranking at all lol.
I'm tempted to change the O2 sesonsors on my car, so far i've just changed the sparkplugs which cost $1000
stuffs more expensive here in australia compared to the US
If i was ballsy enough id rip the engine apart myself.

$1000 for spark plugs?! Is that installed or only price of the parts?! Man, that's painful.

Plugs are only $100 bucks and take less than an hour to do. Someone got hosed at the used car lot.

For real. One of the easiest plug jobs I've done.

Yeah the dealer charged me 988$ for parts/labor for the sparks.
I got a bill coming in for coils, o2sensors, maf sensor etc. (I'm pretty sure thats a couple thousand already)

I'm not great with cars all I know is how to change a tire lol

Being "great at cars" has nothing to do with it. It's called doing your homework, talking to a few people, spending 5min Googling. For anything. It's how most people avoid getting screwed over in life.

Yeah I know what you mean, but I'll be honest..when it comes to cars I'm a complete idiot. Tried learning basic things and googling/youtubing stuff but to me it just never clicked. I'm also not very confident when it comes to working on a car on my own because I don't want to screw something up. Some of us are just different, I'm dumb with cars but I'm great with numbers and investment banking.

Tomorrow my ride goes into the dealership,
they are going to check the car for leaks, Change the O2 sensors, intake manifold gasket, lean the MAF sensors replace them.
If the car still acts up, then ripping the engine apart.
If they find the issue will let you know

It's ok to not work on your own car, it is not ok for someone to charge you that much for a job that should be $250 max, maybe 350 AUD.

In the future, since you are a member of this community, ask us what things should cost, people in Aus can tell you what they have paid and at least you can pay reasonable prices when you do pay for stuff, and find another place because whomever charged you $1000 is a scumbag and will juice you again!
