Hi guys

Just wanted to share some pics of this killer c63 build its just about ready to hit the streets


Thanks to Dyne Performance Dime racing parts full catalog and Weistec for the blower pulleys etc etc

Chasers Motorworks done all the building of engine and pieced everything together

Next is the engine put together by Chasers Motorworks

Engine together and all blacked out

Now for the fuel system

Engine will be dropped back in the car again next week and then tuning needs to be done

This should be awesome. What power are they aiming for.

750whp should be easy achievable with ms109 or e85 and 57mm pulley
Car will be a daily driver with 60mm at 680-700whp

Yes gearbox was previously built by Allen at International Auto Haus in Sydney

This car is Charlie Kay's old car

do you know what was done out of interest to "build" the trans

car has a Weistec trans rebuild kit built to International Auto Haus trans specs

Sweet build man! Maybe one day for me. Was wondering about your rear axles? Did you have to beef them up at all? Does such an upgrade exist?

With racing slicks and all that monster power you'll be putting down I'll bet there is a fair bit of stress at the rear:nix:

My car makes 700whp and is on stock axels and has been fine and ran multiply 9sec passes

Stock stuff is pretty strong

DSS have upgraded axels for c63

finally got this out to the track on Friday night and didnt disappoint
In full street trim full interior pump e85 fuel slipping SC belt and water in the ice tank car ran a best of 9.94 at 141mph

The way the car was raced is the way it is driven on the road no changes what so ever

After these little things are sorted this car will be even faster

You got 60-130 times?

Car is sitting around with a broken trans has been for months

low sixes 60-130mph but no data to confirm

Low six is still fast ... around 900hp

Whats the plan? New gearbox?

This is not my car this is a customers car

We are currently building my motor with sleeves and turbos

Lets wait for dragy :y

We race on tracks we dont use draggy :)

Random question but what did you guys do for airboxes?
I’m having some issues with my standard airboxes with stage 3 Weistec blower creating a vacuum build up and the car surging.

that is a problem with your tune. the ECU tune can ensure your car runs on a 50mm throttle plate. it's tuned for that configuration if so. to run on even a tiny throttle body. we have much larger dual throttle bodies on our cars.

confirm you have no leaks within your system, then confirm you have the correct time for your setup. if both pose true maybe you need a custom tune. or maybe something hardware related is not matching the tune or failing.
