Transmission Oil Leak

My car has developed a leak on the transmission. It is leaking out of the very top seal at the front of the transmission (just behind the engine).
This is now the second time this seal has failed. Same thing as the time before. I was doing a high speed run and the next minute I get smoke behind the car, as the oil lands on the hot exhaust pipe.
Anybody else have this problem. It's annoying.
This is the first time I have run top end since Merc replaced the seal, and it failed.
Car is a 2014 C63 507.

May be a real easy fix there is a service bulletin for, it is related to a vent tube leak during "aggressive driving" have your dealer check. It's as simple as a possible over fill from the factory that is fine unless driven aggrssivley. You will end up getting a free trans fluid change and it is refilled to the "updated" appropriate level.
Needed to be done to a local 2014 C63 here......

I was just about to say that Wobble64 had his rear diff puking oil out the vent when it got too hot, and maybe there's something similar going on here. I wonder if it's about an overfill situation, or the trans fluid getting too hot in high-stress situations, or both?

It definitely looks like some sort of vent seal. I was also wondering if it could just be overfill.
But I would assume that Mercedes would have filled it correctly when it happened the first time.
I'm taking it into the dealer tomorrow, so will see what they say.

You say there is a service bulletin for this problem. Any chance you know what the bulletin number is?

Servive Bulletin specifically states factory overfill that is only apparent during aggressive driving.......in guessing based on the step by step procedure of the bulletin a lower level is combined with a different trans fluid to prevent.

They would still fill to the "too high" level as standard if not utilizing the info in bulletin.

This happened to me.... Was doing a pull on bridge @ 110+ looked in my rear view and white smoke pouring out the back. It was probably about 95F outside at the time so yea... it was HOT. Dealer replaced the seal... told me about the bulletin.

They did not since they were the ones who filled it the first time.
