Selling the C63.. Necessary to remove EC tune??

Not giving legal advice here, but if it's a private sale, it's caveat emptor. Of course if the buyer asks, then you should disclose that it is tuned. If it was tuned via handheld, then I would just include it in the sale.

As above, the handheld and tune are tied to the car, so really no use to you. I would probably remove the tune and then provide the new buyer the handheld with the tune and they can choose to do with it what they want, put it back on or do nothing.

I'd just leave it on. If you take if off, the dealer flashes a software update for the new owner, and he later decides he wants the tune back on, it can lock up his ECU. Based on personal experience, not even EC can fix that.
