Huge Selection of C63 Carbon Fiber Steering Wheels
17 Attachment(s)
Hi mbworld,
We at Revotech Motorsports would like to introduce ourselves as new vendors. We may be a new name here, but we are long time mbworld members and are avid AMG enthusiasts. We know the cars very well and we know what kind of product and quality Mercedes enthusiasts want and expect and that is exactly what we offer at the best price, period. Currently we are offering our signature item - Carbon Fiber Steering Wheels for all Mercedes and AMG models. We can also make a W205 C63S steering wheel work on your w204 C63, if that is what you would like to do, etc. We provide fully customizable options, such as Gloss or Matte Carbon, Ring color, Stitch color, Alcantara or Perforated Leather sides, Paddleshifters, as well as badging. Sky is the limit. Most custom orders will ship within 7-10 days. Most of our steering wheels are in stock and ready to ship immediately! Our steering wheels are OEM and installation is actually quite simple (some do it in less than 30 minutes). Well, we will let the pictures do the talking. Introductory promo pricing will range from $1199-1449. Airbag and Alcantara stitched airbag covers are optional, and the best part is we do NOT ask for your core exchange! You get to keep your wheel. We look forward to making many members happy with the best interior mod they can do to their Mercedes-Benz! I got my wheel last week and finally got it installed today....and I can say that the w205 wheels work perfectly on a W204 car(2011). All the buttons work and no issues with the paddle shifters either.
About the only problem I did have was trying to get used to the new button layout. Here is a pic of the installed wheel, I would highly recommend Attachment 361664 |

Here is a pic of the installed wheel, I would highly recommend http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g4...nc/Photo-1.jpg The only problem with the retrofit is the airbag. In Canada, laws are very strict. We are not allowed to install used airbags, it has to be a brand new oem one purchased from the stealership with receipt as proof in case of accident & airbag didn't deploy causing injuries. Insurance companies can deny ur claims in such case. The stealerships sell brand new airbags for big money which made the cost of retrofit very pricey . This is why I opted to re-used my OEM airbag with my new CF steering wheel (same model year as my OEM wheel). Too much liability issues for what it's worth. I'm not trying to dissuade ppl from retrofitting new model steering wheel to their cars, but would like to advise them to check local laws, compatibility & pls don't trust ebay airbags.. Ur life is worth more than that. |

I don't trust the Takata IED that came with the car either though :nix:
I can't believe I got a recall letter for the airbag since last year & still no fix. |

What year is your W204? I was reading this wasn't a plug and play solution. It required some wire splicing etc.

Does the leather or alcantara wrap over the airbags affect it in any way in case of deployment?

My first post here... mostly been a lurker. Had a CF wheel shipped to me from Revotech recently. Got to love modern technology - we communicated with Whatsapp from halfway around the world so that I could choose the wheel I liked the most and within a week the thing was on my door step in Australia very securely packaged.
There was a bit of an ordeal with the install needing a very strong breaker bar to get my original wheel off... then doing the switchboard swap since my current wheel has the lane keep assist function. I completed the internal transplant recently and now have a fully functioning CF wheel that looks awesome. Very happy with the quality and service! https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...807e94b96b.jpg |

I purchased from them about a year ago now. 4 months after having it the steering wheel cracked and buckled on the top back end. Which I never even use or touch for hand placement. They would not return my money, give me a new wheel, fix it, nothing at all what so ever. My steering wheel is the one pictured inside the car with red alcantera and red interior. I would advise to stay away. Would have been a great product and company if I could have simply got some customer service.
|
Just an update - recently placed an order with them after communicating on Instagram. Person said I'd have my wheel within 2-3 weeks.
Paid via paypal...about a month later, still hadnt received my CF steering wheel. Stopped receiving messages, etc. Wouldn't communicate with me... Filed a claim with Paypal and received my refund this past Friday. I'd stay away from this company at all costs. |
Stay away from this company, they didnt wire my wheel correctly to retrofit the W205 wheel in my W204. I ended up doing it myself.
Poor customer service and poor communication. |
Must be why they've relocated to other social media platforms. Still finding unaware/unsuspecting victims to take advantage of. Those here should be well aware!
|
Yep -- the person I was interacting with kept "suggesting" that I pay with Venmo....nope... I paid via Paypal with the "goods" fee and it saved me almost $1,200.00
Small price to pay for piece of mind. Thank God. |
You could try Ivan at DCT motorsports. That's where my wheel is from. But I recently too had to cancel a small shift boot order from him because he became non-responsive and the order wasn't being met after like 8 weeks. However, my transaction on the wheel was flawless, probably because the piece was in stock ready to ship. Reach out to his shop, maybe by phone call, to find what you want and get realistic timeframes.
