Nice C63 and nice mods, the sound is great.
Anyone noticed that the owner wrote in the comments section that the engine hydro-locked after the video shot due to faulty injector... engine dead... sounds terrible!

I was wondering about that and haven't heard of this before. I guess as a potential ex-press car it might have had a hard start to life but seems like the owner balanced that out with some care. Consequences of the car being driven too hard over it's life so far, or one-off failure? I'm not sure but sad to hear, and I hope the owner pipes up on here and reveals plans to get it back up and running.

i can't seem to find that post now, but when I read it last night I'm pretty sure it was a different name then the guy who is actually the owner. I'm thinking it might have just been a hater. Never heard of injector issues on this car before.

sage sokol it's not a bad idea to do as it is a very expensive repair to do if they fail.. Unfortunately for me one of my injectors failed few months after this recording and hydrolocked the cylinder causing some damage to engine block.. So i ended up trading her in

I have a 335i and they are known a bit more for leaking injectors, but most people catch it before it destroys the engine, usually you get some codes and misfires/rich errors etc as it starts to leak. Too bad it ended badly!

Ya relentlessly thrashed for the first 4k (breaking it in) and then babied for the next 24k after the damage was done!

Seemed a little optomistic about its performance and hp too. 550 bhp and 3.6 0-60? Not that 0-60 is a good measure of anything other than grip off the line. And "track suspension" said about 37 times. Funny because other companies like porsche and even MB allow you to adjust actual track suspensions.
