Preemptive head bolt replacement shops in Maryland
I've tried calling a couple of local MB focused shops to ask about getting head bolts swapped before they are a problem for my 2009. So far, two shops have said they aren't interested to even try. One was Mitch Carr's, the other was White Oak Auto Service. One other shop hasn't called back but seemed tentative.
Anyone have a place local, preferably Montgomery County?
Thanks,
D3

Those are some crappy shops. How are you approaching them are you telling them to do the one at a time method?
Definitely keep looking until you find a shop that has done it.

I was calling them to see if I could get a rough estimate for the work. Carr's was recommended by other people I know with MB vehicles. They (Carr's) suggested calling the White Oak folks who are also supposed to be a good MB shop.

The workaround
I thought you bought mine i gave to carmax. I was going to feel extra guilty. However what you could do is contact MBUSA like i did pretend like your the original owner or second owner either or tell them you want them to offer assistance on the issue and they will most likely tell you pay 700 like they told me and they will front the rest for you. Nothing like a dealership warranty work.
