Remote tune dyno results

*posting this here as this section covers the m156 the most*

Everyone here on the forum and at eurocharged have been a great help over the years, so thanks all. I bought my P030 E63 and wanted to leave it stock but one thing led to another and literally stumbled across some deals i could not pass up on.

Jerry and the staff at eurocharged have always been top notch but today jerry really did his thing https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif

Here in Orlando i wanted to make sure i went to a very trusted dyno and a shop with a great reputation. I was lucky to have the owner of REAL ST be the dyno facilitator and this shop is the truth!

Mods
OBX LTH catless (bought 3" 45 degree stainless piping) with x pipe to the stock resonator
ROWS
K&N filters
V6 tune and now with the remote tune.

After 3 files jerry sent me you will see base and current.

So off the shelf v6 tune was 470 whp and the remote tweaks picked up 28 whp and 30 wtq?! Man. Sounds like I need to do that!

to be fair we did two runs on the shelf tune first was 470 and then 475 so the car picked up 23whp from the remote tune and 26tq. I recommend it to anyone wanting the most out the motor.

Solid numbers!

According to some you are pig rich lol

Superb numbers - I'm very jealous!!

I'll second that 11.84:1 is definitely very rich though. At a guess, leaning it out some will get it over the 500 mark for sure.

How does it feel to drive?

I wonder what the rest of the 6.2 cars put down on that particular dyno. It could just be a happy dyno....but then it's not terribly uncommon for some cars with headers to put down around 470whp with a reflash, so I guess it's legit.

LOL i dont know enough to talk intelligently about the AFR and i'll take your guys word on it. All i know is everytime Jerry sent a tune back the car kept climbing.

The way the car drives is so solid, i've read a few post where guys are having issues with a V6 tune and i have none.

After the tune i felt like i put headers back in it all over again LOL the tq is great and the car just moves the rpm

they told me they have had a few c63's and one made 460 with LTH's he said my car put down the most he's seen with the m156. i took it to real st because they are serious about what they do and from what i understand have the most consistent/accurate dyno in the area (they took one car to three other dynos around the area on the same day with some other reputable shops)

470 is not out of the ordinary for a headers/tune M156. I'm less concerned with that and more concerned with the gains over the off the shelf tune. That's incredible. How much did EC charge for the remote tune?

Schulminator 05-20-2017 12:47 PM

Great numbers, were you running it at Real St and sending Jerry the info and he would send a file back based on your runs?

EC charged $100 an hour (2-3hrs is whats needed) and then you have to pay the dyno whatever they want

Yes sir, we did two baseline pulls with the shelf tune and then two pulls every time Jerry sent a new flash.:zoom:

How long have you had your car and what does the maintenance schedule look like through its 8-9 year life? What major repairs have been carried out by previous owners/yourself etc?

i was not able to get a copy of the maintenance the car had done previously to me getting it. I've had it since march 20th and it was bone stock and now here you have it. I've done two oil changes and thats it

Those are very impressive numbers.

Wow wouldn't think there would be that much to gain on a E tune over the reg v6. Wonder what was changed to make that type of gain. Seems major. Nice work!
