C63 AMG COUPE CONVERSION to Black series

1 Attachment(s)
Hi Firstly this is not a black series it is a 2014 c63 amg that has been converted using mb orig parts not a fibreglass kit couple of non mb parts but has been a real epic build
Attachment 360144

running stage 2 weistec blower with ice tank and water/meth injection and FI headers and valved exhaust
full interior retrim in black leather and alcantara centres with red stitching matching red seatbelts and black series gearlever

Not meant to be anything other than a converted c63 amg

skratch77 06-10-2017 04:15 PM

Looks great but using OEM parts plus labor would it be not cheaper to just sell the car and buy a black series?

Gasman2 06-10-2017 05:00 PM

Not really a black series is only special in its standard form once modified it looses its status....mine is just a c63 thats been modded and as such no real status to loose

betrezra 06-10-2017 05:45 PM

Well done sir!

No need to apologize for building this! love it.

You 'must' post up a parts list.... I see this becoming more common, as the W204 ages.....

zcct04 06-10-2017 06:10 PM

Beautiful job!

Mort 06-10-2017 06:15 PM

Well done, that looks like a very nice job. :y

I am sure everyone would be interested in the details of the build and the parts list if you have them and the time to share. :)

BLKROKT 06-10-2017 08:54 PM

Well done :y

Pics of the interior trim too please. I'm about to do something similar. Did you do it yourself or your shop.

Schulminator 06-10-2017 09:16 PM

Beautiful..... yes more pics

Farooq_63 06-10-2017 11:14 PM

how do you like the FI exhaust. I have the FI cat back exhaust, I am just waiting to get some MHP headers to pair it with before I install the system.

the parts list is exhaustive and to anyone contemplating a build get your parts first as i had a couple of supply issues...esp one bracket for attatching side panel and one carbon side cover
That said i undertook the build to make my car just look a tad more unique as very few red black series in uk
My bodyshop completed all the work with all genuine mb parts bar the rear spoiler and front canards and bonnet
I have less than 1 mb upload speed so will try and add a few more details
the car is as follows
Full interior retrim to match black series
Full Black Series body conversion incl carbon
KW ddc coilover kit
Fi full valved exhaust with sports cats(valves closed subtle/valves open screaming banshee)
Amg lighted sill plates
Upgraded speakers and sub in rear quarter
wheels 9x20f 10.5x20r 255x35x20f 305x25x20r
Braided brake lines
Weistec stage 2 blower and carbon air intake bm filter
Weistec ice tank
Aquamist water/meth injection
Brabus paddle shifters
Car dynoed at 728bhp and some 600ft pounds of torque from 200rpm

The dyno graph was an earlier tune the most up to date was 728bhp

Awesome to know more about it. Then again, I'm partial to the color.

Your humility with regards to this is refreshing, but a little excessive lol. Take some pride!
This is an all round great project - exterior, interior, motor. Everything.
You obviously understand the difference between a "tribute" car and a reproduction, and I respect that, but that doesn't diminish the quality of the vision or the work at all. After all, we've seen plenty of guys screw it up lol.

Really, really well done, and you deserve to take a bow after that much work.

Gasman2 06-11-2017 05:14 PM

Tks for comments
Car was a gradual thing over 2 yrs
I couldnt afford a genuine black series so set out to have the next best thing...if people ask about car i am the first to clarify just what it is ...a c63 amg with a twist
My bodyshop guy has done a mm perfect job topped off with better than factory paint and is the only one in the uk ..there are a couple of fibreglass kitted ones but mine is a peg above them

Savage-wp 06-11-2017 05:19 PM

Your car looks awesome.
Very nice all round build. Looks, power, handling and sound.

Adi-Benz 06-11-2017 08:41 PM

Very nice! As others said please show us your interior.

Good job so far!

Kriston 06-12-2017 10:41 AM

Looks awesome bud, and you don't have to apologize for a tasteful build. IMHO a CBS conversion is coveted simply because of the ability to run wider rubber. A much needed addition to a S/C C63.

Congrats!

IBowlC63AMG 06-12-2017 11:55 AM

looks great! major applause guy! Question are most against the fiberglass options? such as Prior Design/ Ram Speed/ Etc Etc

Gasman2 06-12-2017 04:41 PM

Fibreglass if done well is still ok but labour intensive as the kits come from a mould and wl never be as good as orig parts...that said if done well have their place

Nando_514 06-13-2017 07:15 AM

Wow man! I WISH I had found a red C63 when I was looking to buy... Always been my favorite lol. Your car looks stunning. Good job:y

How long did the entire process take at the body shop? Weeks? Months?

Slow_c63 06-13-2017 10:29 AM

Talk about quality build. :y

Gasman2 06-13-2017 04:19 PM

Was a very challenging build due to the shenanigans of eurocharged uk(Franchise going tits up)And the way it all unfolded full details on mbclub in uk

FactoryFast 06-18-2017 09:08 PM
