re: All the threads about headers being too loud
Dear C63 owners who have installed Long Tube Headers and are now complaining in every other thread that they're too loud. What did you expect?
Please grow a pair of ***** you girls
Sincerely

I agree...bunch of tools who bought the wrong car. The sound is one of the best attributes of our cars.
I'd gladly trade my stock manifolds for longtubes if anyone thinks they're too "loud."

I totally agree with the sentiment in OP, but complaints from girlfriends and wives are pretty legitimate. I'm pretty young and idiotic but even I can understand that some more mature members may not want the ridiculous sound and attention from long tube headers

I don't know maybe I'm weird but I absolutely love the way my car sound stock with a tune on it.
It is perfect in every way and sounds amazing.
I'm doing headers for the performance gain and don't want my car to sound like a Camaro.
Here is my car the night it got delivered from Miami to Boston and the car came with renntech stage 2
It sounds perfect and has a throaty snap rasp that is 10x louder in person.

Agree completely. What did you think was going to happen when you put LTH on? It isn't a secret that it is one of the loudest modifications you can do. I don't think complaints from wives or girlfriends are legitimate either. Again, you knowingly did something that will make your car exponentially louder. You know your significant other. You knew they'd complain. Congrats... they complained. I read these threads and am bewildered that there are truly this many ridiculous people. If you don't want the sound and attention that come with LTH... wait for it... don't put on LTH. Funny how that works.

I legit laughed out loud and couldn't agree more with BLK. The only part that kinda sucks is, you cant really get on it at night in the city its so loud that if there is cop near by watching Netflix on his laptop he will hear it lol. The noise the car makes will never get old.
It will never sound like a Camaro bro, you think you liked the noise stock? The header is where its at.

Every single time I read a thread about people complaining about the noise, I sit and wonder why they bothered to buy LTH

You 100% get use to the sound of LTH's after a while. Due most in part to great German engineering, the cabin of our cars keep things pretty quiet. But outside its like the gates of hell opened at WOT.
Really subjective stuff, Its amazing the looks of peoples faces when they hear the noise coming from a lil "C class".
