White smoke

So the last month white smoke has been coming out of the exhaust after sitting a bit. When I took it to the dealer for service they said it was moisture, but before the service I got the add oil light which led me to believe it could be burning oil or coolant or something worse.. opinions?

White smoke is typically coolant; oil tends to burn with a more bluish hue. If it's after the car has been sitting a while, the dealer may be right that it's accumulated moisture in the exhaust that's boiling off.

has it ever run through your Head that it might be the bolts ?👀

2013 has the updated bolts.

How much smoke are we talking about? Does it dissipate quickly like steam?

Search took 0.19 seconds.

I would first suggest trolling through the other threads about this. It may be more helpful, because, way back when it was first asked once or twice people were way more interested in responding. But now, not so much...

Head bolts are fine, it's not blue so likely condensation just like the dealer told you.

Definitely, might be, something worse.

sometimes a lot sometimes a little and it stays white and and floats away unlike how condensation would act.

Considerable discussion on this over the years. Likelihood IMO - 99% chance it's a normal condition. I've had it and my motor is in superb condition mechanically.

Sorry, evidently the search results don't appear. Try searching "white smoke startup."

I would suggest we get enough trolling through the other threads.
