Difference in coupe vs sedan 0-60

Hi,

I'm trying to get accurate information on the 0-60 of the V8 C63's 0-60 times with launch control for both the sedan and coupe.

I'm seeing a lot of different numbers and would love to know what the stock car can produce for types of C63.

Thanks!

Why at 0-60 times all over the place? Some online sites say 3.7, some 3.8, while others 4.0, and here 4.2.

It's because of this:

Most German manufacturers list the worst case 0-60 time. As in, a driver will never get lower than that number in any reasonable situation.

While something like the new Camaro has a ridiculous 2.9 0-60 that nobody can replicate.

The 4.2 may be the safe number given out by MB. The 3.7 or whatever is probably what the journalists observed.

Cars make lots of power, but getting on the ground is difficult, so conditions make a huge difference in the 0-60.

Sedan weighs 200 lbs less than the coupe, so it should be faster all things being equal and traction and reaction time etc not part of the equation, but it is like 100's of a second difference at most as it is not much of a weight difference.

KPH right?
One other difference I suppose is whether the data compares cars with exactly the same features. Performance package cars with more HP and LSD would I expect be different than a base care and no LSD would they not?
Apples to apples for starters.

Well a modern day F1 cars are generally considered to do 0-100 kph in the 1.6-1.9 sec range so that is pretty impressive.

His speedo gets to 60 but thats because his wheels are spinning. Theres no production car in the world that can go 0-60 in 2 seconds lol.

Lol youre trolling yourself, Alex. Jasonoff said he can get his speedo to 60mph in under 2 seconds. He does a burnout and makes the speedo thinks hes moving fast!

Ya I got that from his reply but at my age learning something new each day is healthy so taking a peek around was interesting.

2.1 seconds is absolutely insane and I think that it'll be very hard to replicate. I think its much closer to 2.5 seconds or even 3 seconds.

I fully agree that it sounds insane but I got two independent sources - well as independent as the net can be - with the same number. The second one also had a 0-100 kph at 2.4.
Stock apparently is 808 hp out of 6.2L V8 with an IHI 2.7L Rotary Screw blower at 14.5 psi or double atmospheric standard so with an 8 spd and wide tires I guess it is a case of strap in, hit go and hang on.

Density Attitude when and where tested is a huge factor in this.

C63 AMG PPP Saloon
I've managed various runs sub 3.8,3.7 etc
my best so far on the road with road tyres is 3.48 on vbox on a flat road
when including the 1 ft roll out it takes it down to around 3.2 on vbox verified website

my car is a facelift saloon ppp with headers sports cats row boxes a carbon intake dry filters and the v5 header tune
that run was done in summer with warm road Tyres Michelin PS4s 275/19/35 with 2.0 bar pressure cold
fronts were Michelin super sports 245/19/40 at 3 bar cold
the run was done using race start full weight full fuel 100kg driver
