Pre-Dyno Checklist
Going to a local dyno Saturday to see how the car is performing. This will be my first time dynoing anything, so I'm curious if others who have been have advice on pre-visit checks or things to be aware of. I'm not super interested in squeezing every last bit out of the engine, but instead am more curious to see if it's running solidly. Other than making sure the engine is warm, fluids are level, filters aren't shot, etc., is there anything special to know?
I'll post results after the session. Also picked up an ODB-II reader and downloaded Dash Command for additional info (I've seen a couple very helpful threads on timing, AF ratio, LTFT, so looking to add some data to these conversation). Thanks all.

Thanks for the helpful replies. I'm assuming the interface in the video is the same on a facelifted model? Would simply deactivating the ESP on the center console have the same effect, or does the method in the video have other benefits?
I've also just assumed we'll put it in manual mode and use the paddle shifters (or, well, not use them as the case may be) for pulls.

Yes, it's the same for the face-lifted cars.
Dyno mode is better, as it disables all electronic assistance.
Run the car in manual mode, 4th or 5th gear.

Results are in. Had a little trouble getting it into dyno mode--when I inserted the key, it would ask me to remove it and not give me the option of switching everything off. I turned ESP off via center console, and on run 3 I guess the car figured out what we were doing and went into dyno mode. A little weird, but no ill effects. Also, something was amiss with the torque/rpm readings on the first two pulls, so we couldn't capture that data. So take those with a grain of salt I guess.
Run 1: 449hp
Run 2: 447hp
Run 3: 440hp @ 6.5k; 417 lbs/torque at ~5k ish
Will post the graphs and maybe video later. Thanks to you all for the helpful info in prep.

I should also add all runs were done in 5th gear. Sorry, didn't think through what data would be helpful to know when considering these figures on the back end.
