As for the Mustang, the GT350R is a great piece of engineering. One ran with us at Watkins Glen last year - it could really move and man did it sound great. As for the other models, meh not really my thing. Tough to compare any of them to a C63 though, they’re just totally different cars made for different consumer groups. But the new GT with the performance pack is just as fast stock as a W204 C63, and you can get a brand new one for just a little bit more than a decent used FL W204 C63...
Can't argue with your comments but we do have to keep in mind what FORD stands for. Some say First On Race Day but more popular is Found On Road Dead!!

Have a look! Be sure to look at the comparison to other times of other cars. Incredible performance. Even the PP1 is good.

I don't know about you guys but the PP2 is putting down staggering numbers on the track, I would dare say better than a C63S would. I am considering this car over the C63S.

The PP2 is a track car, for sure. But you can get a DD PP1 with all the goodies for around 50K.

Scroll down to see the score board.

I see new Mustangs, gt and otherwise, everywhere. They are very commo pllace. have seen exactly one other c63 where I live/work and it's an influential area the c63 is just a special car.

2010 C300 4MATIC........ 2011 C63 AMG.............. 2015 CLS400 4MATIC.....
Some of you are offending the owners and not the car. That's not what he asked for. Clearly he's not in the US anyways, therefore those arguments are invalid, as well as obnoxious.

With this said:
In Germany, the C63 would be lighter.
I'll have to come up with some numbers and sources for them.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio only weighs in Europe around 3300 lb while here it weighs 3800. But this may have to do with a different transmission too.
Usually they add 200lb or so for the 5 Mph bumper reinforcements front and rear and other such.
And the Mustang would be more expensive in Europe than here, while the C63 would be a domestic car and cheaper than here.
Sometimes I see this type of test in this German YouTube channel called Grip.
In that environment the two would compare well.
A lighter and cheaper C63 vs a Mustang that has import taxes of 12.5% added.

The build quality is different of course, but now the power to weight would be closer and the price would be a bit closer. At the track, a lighter C63 would be closer to a track oriented R version of the Mustang.

A 2010 C63 weighs in EU 3881 lb, not as light as i thought it would be.

overlooking build quality, the mustangs I have driven have been very fun cars. I drove an RS3 with 650 bhp and that was soooo fun. I think with some nice exhaust mods, they sound great too. I just can't get over how often major things break. I think the '18s had issues with transmission failures and a lot of the '19s are having issues with blown engines. I saw a video of a 10-speed '19 with headers and a tune pulling on a CLS63 (M157 engine). that's pretty damn impressive considering those cars put down like 490+ whp stock. My biggest issue with Mustangs is (at least in the US) the mentality of the drivers. A lot drive like *****s, and I love nothing more than to put them in their place with my debadged C63 when the time comes.

This sounds truly pathetic, as I am probably missing out on a half decent car BUT, I just couldn’t own one due to the driver image.

In the USA, I don’t know what the Mustang’s demographic is but over here in the UK I wince because all I see mid-life crisis 40-50+ guys trying to shave 20yrs off of their age, with a super smug look. The other end of the scale are younger 20’s guys who have fallen into this stupid “supercar life” fad. I kid you not, over here it is a race for people to try to outdo one another by financing themselves on a car to beat their friends and complete and utter strangers. If it has even the smallest BMW M/Audi S/AMG (line) badge with a pathetic 2.0 diesel, is remotely prestige or a clapped out high mileage and low priced V8 R8, they want to be in it to look like they’re “ballin’”. I’m sad to say, no car is safe as finance deals over here are crazy and you can walk out of a dealer with whatever you want so long as you can sacrifice £xxx of your salary. I’ve known guys paying 75% of their (low-ish) monthly income to run a car which is nuts, but the lenders literally will take anyone. You may think this is funny when talking about a Mustang but, we’ve never had a RHD Mustang before so it got a fair amount of hype and falls into the above category.

For me, I like the way the Mustang looks but I was disappointed with the “lack” of power; something to do with then RHD rack and crappy stock headers to make it all work. We also will never get a GT350 so I was out then also.

I am glad they exist as I get endless hours of entertainment watching them be crashed on youtube, truly epic how many mustangs are destroyed regularly, but I guess if you put 460hp in a car a 18 year old can afford and sh** happens.

Steel Grey Metallic C63!!
I went over to the dark side and added a shelby gt350 to my garage. It feels fantastic to be back in a manual transmission car. The magnetic shocks are awesome, I wish MB would offer these shocks on their AMGs.

W204 C63 Coupe, W166 ML350 BlueTEC, 928GT, C5 Z06 & IS300 race cars, EQE 4Matic+ on order
Enjoy the ride! As for the magnetic shocks, MB has been putting them on every AMG made in the last three years from the CLA45 and C43 to the AMG GT R... they call it AMG RIDE CONTROL.
