VRP flex fuel kit

Has anyone used the VRP flex fuel kit? Seems like a pretty good deal compared to Eurocharged. Almost half the price.

There are a couple threads on it. VRP isn't super knowledgable about the products, which isn't a jab at them, Eurocharged just knows their stuff.

The kit is essentially the same, but you'll need to cut into the fuel line to install the sensor. It's not a huge deal, but it's not plug-and-play like Eurocharged. Little bit of wiring to be done with the VRP kit, but again, not a huge deal.

Why don't you buy one, take pictures of the install, and let us know how it goes?

My main question about the system is can it run any blend of fuel on the fly, including high octane fuels, or just corn?

Nowhere did you ask that question... Have you called them? A simple call would answer that question.

Chill bro, no need to get all worked. I wanted to know if anyone had the kit and maybe they could answer my questions. If you don't that's fine, but you don't need to get all bent out of shape about it.

The kit adds fuel for ethanol content. Doesn't adjust the tune at all. So no it doesn't change the tune for race gas. Are you sure it's half the price for same things? I've installed the eurocharged kit and it was plug and play

Seems too good to be true at that price. Can't figure out what the difference is between this and the EC kit.

So I saw this kit after I put in my Eurocharged kit but what I ended up seeing they posted somewhere was that VRP was trying to sell off these kits at a cheaper price before they start selling a kit similar to the eurocharged flex fuel kit. So far haven't seen anyone else running it and not sure why there are two controllers. Looks like its flex fuel though with similar gains.

I don't see any injectors and it looks like you have to do all the wiring. Not plug and play

I have this kit. It is made by eflexfuel. https://eflexfuel.com/en

It is more expensive now than it was when I bought it, think I paid $400 for it, and you can find it on ebay for the same price. When I ordered from VRP it was supposed to come with the Mercedes pigtails, it didnt. I ended up doing a lot of cutting and soldering installing the kit, that wasnt bad, just not what I was planning to do. Eventually they sent me the correct pigtails. App is decent, shows the Ethonol % and duty cycle. There are 2 boxes, 1 is the main box for 4 cyl and the other is the slave box for the other 4. When I received it, it had the eFlexFuel branding all over it and not VRP branded.

For the price it is a nice kit, definitely bulkier than the Eurocharged kit and mine was not plug and play. For the price it is hard to beat though.

It isnt, The only difference is that you will have to pin your connectors (which we provide) installation is simple, Taking less than an hour if youre handy with electrical connectors. You will also need to splice into power. Same results from both kits.
