Wheels Hub Question
Will these wheels fit my car in the front? I noticed hub is 66.53 and not 66.6? https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...0f855f8f4.jpeg |
These are Niche M117 Misano wheels matte black. Fronts 18x8 42+ hub 66.53 run 235/40/18 Rears. 18x9.5 +48 hub 66.53 run 265/35/18 I was told they would fit, just concerned about hub |
7/100ths of a millimeter? I think you're good.

Thanks. Last thing I want is to mount wheels and tires and then they don’t fit and can’t return them As luck would have it I get tires mounted balanced and the front wheels are touching calipers, not by much so in the process of sanding inside the wheel spokes to fit:hammer: |

Wouldn't getting a 3-5mm spacer be easier?
Two questions: 1) I assuming Stock Lug bolts will still work? 2) What type am I looking for that will fit car? I am a rookie when it comes to spacers and wheel stuff. |

Yes, most definitely. I am thinking 5 mm would work. Two questions: 1) I assuming Stock Lug bolts will still work? 2) What type am I looking for that will fit car? Google something like 'wheel spacer lug bolt length' |
And don't use 5 mm spacers either... that puts all of the vertical load on the bolts instead of the hub flange which could be just as fatal as weakening the spokes when the bolts shear. In other words, get proper MB fitment wheels instead of trying to adapt something made for a VW.

Post a pic of the wheel center bore. Depending on how it looks you may be able to get away with a 5mm spacer. If it could work I have a set you can have. Just pay the shipping.

I ordered 10mm spacers which had hub centric lip. Thanks I'm running stock 18's with 10mm spacers and 275/35 tires and I'm pretty certain I'd rub if I was lowered and my math has my setup being 12mm more inset than you. Either way I'm interested to see some pics installed if you have a chance. |
The backs are flush with no spacers. Spacers just for the front only. I will post pic this weekend |
Sell the car.
In all seriousness, get some spacers. Do not compromise the wheel. 8mm or 10mm and new bolts would do the trick just fine. Hopefully, the wheel wont stick out too much |

Are you lowered? I think 18x9.5 +48 with a 10mm spacer (effectively 18x9.5 +38) is going to be a pretty tight fit in the back. That's 22mm wider than stock.

I remember when I was in the VIP scene with my LS400, people would shave their brake calipers to make wheels fit! I thought I had seen it all lmao!
Just make sure everything is hubcentric, or you will get vibrations. |
