ESS Supercharger Group Buy

https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...5519bbf726.jpg
After receiving some requests for a group buy we have decided to put one together for ESS supercharger for the W204 C63. The group buy lasts until March 15th 2018.

The ESS supercharger now utilizes the 2.9L Whipple gen 3 supercharger and has the intercooler mounted on top for great cooling efficiency. It uses a large water to air intercooler and currently comes with 6psi or 8psi pulley options (8psi pulley not supported by ESS because of the increased stress from the extra power on parts like the transmission). ESS says their kit and tune makes 577whp without headers on a gen 2 supercharger. We have installed one on our shop car and will be going to the track in the spring once they open up.

This is available for a limited time and only available if we receive a minimum of 5 orders. The pricing will be as follows:

1) Full ESS supercharger kit: $7650 + shipping (Retail $8,995)
http://esstuning.com/ess-m156-6-2l-amg-twin-screw-supercharger-system/

2) ESS tuner kit which doesn't include injectors or tune: $6800 + shipping (Retail price $7,995)
http://esstuning.com/ess-m156-6-2l-amg-twin-screw-supercharger-tuner-kit/

Once the group buy is over, this pricing will no longer be available. Don't miss out!

GROUP BUY PRICING HAS BEEN MET!

Does this come with the tune needed to run or would I have to source this separately ?
whats the cost of shipping to the uk?

Brunty88 02-14-2018 11:58 AM

Also what's the power with the gen 3 on a car with headers?

AMGonFire 02-14-2018 12:09 PM

Does ESS have a tune designed for cars with headers?

The first option comes with tune . Ecu has to be shipped to ESS for tune.

If you pm me an address I can get you a price on shipping. Thanks

This information is not available yet.

Yes. Our shop car has headers and is tuned by ESS

alboogiee 02-14-2018 03:04 PM

Price and option for the blower and injectors, no tune?

Assuming W211 E63 carryover without issue.

Also interested in ballpark HP/TQ numbers with headers (pump 93, 8psi).

AMGonFire 02-14-2018 03:24 PM

What year is your shop car? Also how is the trans handling the power?

BLKROKT 02-14-2018 03:46 PM

Jeez. Just when I thought that I was committed to staying NA.....

Unfortunately that isn't an option. I can talk directly with ESS and see what I can do if you're interested.

I can confirm that but I have seen a W211 E63 with this setup.

We don't like to guess on power numbers.

It is an 09. It doesn't have very much mileage on the setup but no trans issues thus far.

the ess tune regulates the throttle input and torque delivered to the tranny. So it is safe not only on the newer MCT trans, but also on the earlier pre facelift car transmissions.

also, larger injectors are included

kjkidd21 02-14-2018 08:53 PM

If you buy the "Full ESS Supercharger Kit", what size injectors are included with the kit?

I currently have the Eurocharged E85 FlexFuel Kit with 550cc injectors (because of MBH headers). Would this Supercharger kit be compatible with that or would I have to uninstall the FlexFuel kit to run the Supercharger?

That was never going to happen. Your BFF GZIM has too strong of an influence over you. :rolf:

On the Ess website it says 550cc so you should be good Kev.

Awesome, thanks Luke. That means I wouldn't need the injectors. But I wonder if there's a way to continue running my FlexFuel.

I can't imagine the power with the ESS SC Kit on 8 PSI, MBH LTH's and E85 FlexFuel!!!

Exactly. If you get it custom tuned w e85 you should be killing it. I would think even 8psi is low considering the weistec boys seem to be 11-12 psi. Maybe Brad can chime in.

My struggle right now is not jumping ship to the RS3 platform with an Iroz xona turbo......

I spoke with ESS.

No option of injectors without tune. It's either with both or without.

They also said they do not support the E63 but some have made it fit.

550cc included with kit.

If you plan on keeping the flex fuel you will need larger injectors and a custom tune which ESS does not provide.

Correct on injector size.

You would need bigger injectors to run flex fuel as well as a custom tune

How much is shipping within the continental USA?

G_Money 02-14-2018 11:01 PM

Does anyone in Georgia, or perhaps Florida, North or South Carolina, do live tuning for this kit?

Also what injectors would you need to run this with E85 and headers? 750cc?

And one more question... What does the crank pulley set up look like for these kits? That's the only piece they don't seem to have a picture of on their website.

Cozy 02-15-2018 07:41 AM

Wow, this is really keen pricing.

I’m with Brunty, I’d need shipping to the UK, and if tuning can’t be done remotely by ESS the I’d have to look at eurocharged.

I’m interested to know what the full and tuner kits can give a car with headers, on 94oct (99ron).

Gsrchris 02-15-2018 08:22 AM

I'd be interested in the full package. If we run 94 octane up here in Canada, can we get away with the 8psi?

We are working with Eurocharged to offer handheld programmer with remote tuning for people who don't want to ship their ecu or would like custom tuning. Cost will be $1000 including handheld programmer.

Depends on your power goals. I would say 750+cc.

The crank pulley is not altered with the ESS kit. You leave the factory one in place. I am told in the future they will be releasing larger crank pulleys for even higher boost levels.

Thank you.

Waiting to hear back from ESS on shipping to the UK. ESS does not offer remote tuning but we are working with Eurocharged to offer a handheld programmer with remote tuning capabilities for those who do not want to ship their ECU to ESS or want custom tuning. Cost will be $1000 with the handheld.

The full and tuner kits are the same hardware. The tuner kit doesn't come with injectors and tune though. We don't have power numbers to give you yet with headers but according to ESS the headers didn't add much power in their experience.

Sounds good. Yes you can run 8psi pulley with 93 octane.

skratch77 02-15-2018 10:05 AM

This is a really good deal and ideal for someone that has a bone stock car.
