Eurocharged V7 Remote Tuning Session
What’s up guys here at the Dyno Shop BMR where I usually come for my dynos. We will be doing a remote tuning session with Jerry in just a little bit to see what gains we get from this on pump 91oct. I know a lot of you guys have been waiting for this moment since I had my heads port n polished with nongains and possible loss of power so let’s see what she makes today with a custom tune. I will revisit the dyno on a later date filled with E85 to see what gains we get from that as well. Dyno History(non Eurocharged tune): 485whp/444wtrq Early 2016 479whp/433wtrq 4/13/2017 after PNP and resonator delete. Different dates/times/temps etc.. could have varied those above numbers. Today we are solely looking for gains over the canned v7 tune. Though I’d be nice to see ATH numbers. Performance Mod List to Date: Eurocharged V7 Tune Eurocharged Flex Fuel Kit ammfab Port N Polished Heads aFe Pro Dry Filters ROW Boxes UPD Intake Spacer UPD Billet Pullies MBH Headers MBH HFC MBH X-Pipe MBH Resonator Delete Stay Tuned!! |
Just curious, you were able to use afe filters with the magic spacers? For some reason my green filters that came with the kit seemed bigger and my afe's would just fall in.

No issues here. |
The V7 tune is great before any adjustments so far. Waiting on Jerry to send a modified file back. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...c57fef242.jpeghttps://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...93700daf3.jpeg That 486/439 run is legit no spikes. |
Looks really good for 91oct! Can you log the runs ?
and what does mbh resonator delete do? Just straight pipes where they were? |
We have the sniffer in for afrs. I can get the dynojet files would that work?
|
1st round of modified runs. Numbers all over the place not sure what to say about these. Lol https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...d23e00063.jpeghttps://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...22b93952f.jpeg |
500whp would be nice !!
|
Round 2 is in. Making progress!! https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...9125cacaa.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...1e1f1b6f7.jpeg 493/444 hell yeah. |
Round 3. No gains on this tune. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...05d6f6848.jpeghttps://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...7aac7f489.jpeg |
Alright so Jerry and I are satisfied with Dyno Tune 2 from round 2. Made 493whp/444wtrq. I am very satisfied with the numbers which met my expectations. We will be doing another remote tuning session in the future for an E85 map. |
Very nice, thanks for keeping us updated. :)
|
expect another 30whp with e85 :)
|
That's great. Congrats on things really starting to get sorted.

So am I missing something? You gained 7 whp and 5 wtq over the base v7 map? On the initial dyno run v7 base what was the green run? There seems to be a large gain in the lower rpm with the other runs compared to the green. Was that non eurocharged tune? |

Pretty much. The tune feels much smoother now and power seems more instant. All charts shown today were Eurocharged runs. You talking about the green 455 run? That was a spike. |

Glad to see positive results man, well done :y
Any reason why you decided to stay with the stock rev limit? |

Ahhh yes, ok now that you mention it, looking at your dyno plot some of the pulls end at 7k. That would mean the operator let go of the pedal at maybe around 7500rpm or so. The tachs on these cars at high rpm are miles off.....mine shows 8000rpm but logs at ~7400. Go figure.
