None, why change the exhaust? Are you modifying any other part of the car that warrants the change?

Stock exhaust with secondary cat delete is the way to go.
Why spend unnecessary money when the stock exhaust sound so good.

All aftermarket cat-backs sound crap vs stock cat-back. IPE is quieter unless you have the valves open, then it’s about as loud as stock but doesn’t sound like an AMG.

Milltek is just an expensive second cat delete.

Supersprint is again quieter than stock.

Theres literally no point in any. If you aren’t sticking in headers then just go for a shop who can do a second cat delete without the Milltek price inflation. If you are doing headers then the stock cat-back is really raw at first and really loud. It does quite down but the only way to reign it in totally is with a more robust cat-back. IPE for example will be quieter than stock with headers with valves closed, but loud as hell with them open; it also loses AMG sound but sounds ok to me, just pure V8 thunder.

I’d have a think what your end goal is. If you are likely to want headers one day, don’t cut up your exhaust system putting in a second cat delete. Go with headers that have cats in them, IMO.

I have the IPE headers, and am very happy with the service received from IPE Taiwan and with the quality and fitment.
it sounds insane, and the car makes good power.
But it's not worth doing the catback on it's own. You won't gain power, and not really much in sound.

What about doing Primary cat delete and everything else remain the same? is it better than then catback? cheers

From what i can see is that most of the people either doing just cat back system or full exhaust, why aren't many people doing just the Primary cat delete ? any particular reason?

because if we are going to delete the primaries, we just go full retard and get long tube headers.

Before I fitted my headers, I did a primary and secondary cat delete. The car gained a decent amount of oower, and the sound was a lot louder than stock. Definitely worth doing.
Gained even more power and noise after fitting the headers.

my main concern is if i have the primary cat deleted, if it becomes too loud or too smelly, i can't change it back, so i'm thinking the aftermarket option with valve control, either catback or full exhaust, maybe IPE ... Any one has the same concern? Any good suggestion?

I have IPE headers onto stock cat-back. When I first did it, it was incredibly loud and a little raspy, nothing Honda-like though. After about 500miles it started to tone down a lot, became a lot deeper, less raspy and overall sounds more muscular. It continues to tone down but it is a lot louder than stock and depending on your tolerance, you may or may not like. I love it, but you’d be best to hear in person.

The main positive of it is of course power with unrestricted flow, this was noticeable, more so with a tune. The other is that it doesn’t drone.

You do know our stock exhausts are made by Eisenmann Right?

Out of all the ones you listed, the super sprint is the only exhaust i would consider.

Scratch what i just said above.

There's a guy selling an Akra slip on setup for 1200 bucks in the classifieds here. Jump on that. That's a no brainer.

Out of all the top tier performance brands we sell (Akrapovic included) the one we get the most returning customers for is iPE. With their sound and these performance gains, it's a no-brainer:

If you're concerned with smells I'd definitely go with iPE's Sport Cat Headers. When you pair this with the rest of the exhaust it's an absolute animal.

I can help you with further information, special MB World member pricing, and availability.

Just do either Res delete or 2ndary cat delete. $2-300 TOPs. Then enjoy.

I have a video somewhere of my old setup. I'll find it and post it up.
I don't really notice the smell during normal driving. But if I sit in traffic, with the windows down, I can smell it a bit. Nothing that bothers me though.

Hi you mean I can install just the IPE header and everything else remains stock? and that still gives a much better sound? do I lose or gain any torque that way? and where are you located?

iPE offers headers with sport cats and headers with cat bypass. The cat bypass makes more sound but gives you those smells you're trying to avoid. You pair the iPE sport cat headers with the iPE exhaust and it's a complete full system that gives you not only sound but plenty of torque (+22 ft-lb to be exact).

We're located in Miami, Florida.
