FS: Complete Set of 225/40R-18 Dunlop Winter Maxx XL Tires
Removed my winter tires from the C63 for the last time this past Friday. This was my second set of winter tires for this car. This set has only traveled a few thousand miles, tops. Needless to say, they're in excellent condition. They've never been damaged and they've never been abused.
Previously had Blizzaks; switched to the Winter Maxx to have better performance in heavy snow, slush, and ice. In terms of pure winter performance/confidence, these have been some of the best winter tires I have ever used.
I know this is the time of year where most of us are putting on our summer tires, but because my C63 departs this summer, I obviously no longer need the winters.
I am willing to let them go for very cheap so anyone in need of a set of robust, dedicated winters can snag these early for a good deal.
These tires were $600+ when new.
Spec: Dunlop Winter Maxx XL; 225/40R-18 Square Setup
Price: $100 for all 4 (PayPal accepted)
Condition: Outstanding
Shipping: Buyer responsible for shipping costs; I will ship FedEx or UPS the same day I receive funds; all 4 tires have been wrapped in thick plastic tire bags provided by local Benz dealer for purposes of shipment and storage protection

The Winter Maxx I already have wrapped up and protected, so I was trying to find photos that showed the tread pattern design, etc. without butchering the wrap job.
For anyone serious about buying the tires, I'd be more than happy to unwrap the tires and send tread depth measurements, etc.
Price drop to $150.

Some questions:
-Where are you located?
-Do these fit on the factory 18x9 rear wheels? (seems like quite a bit of stretch for a 225 tire)
-How long have you had them? (years/miles)
You can PM me if you prefer.

Yep. Gas prices have driven up shipping costs lately. Shipping from Indiana to NY runs about $160 for all 4 tires, but $260 for a set of winter tires with around 3k miles on them is still a steal.
NOTE: TIRES ARE SOLD PENDING FUNDS.
